Workers at the University of Murcia have donated their payrolls totaling 23,460 euros to the foundation Jesus Forsaken, which allowed 3350 afford full service, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.
This collection has been achieved in the first nine months of this year and is a result of the agreement signed with the foundation, which was enabled by a procedure for those who so choose may authorize the breaches from stopping part of their payroll for this purpose.
The largest number of registered donors in March, with more than 220, while the largest contribution came last May, which exceeded 2650 euros.
The University has encouraged staff to continue with the donations and pointed out that the amounts paid deducted in the statement of income tax.
