The Centers for Women teach traditional cooking from the garden in the Classroom Gastronomic Veronicas (21/09/2012)

The members of the Women's Centers municipality participating in the Culinary Classroom Raimundo González of the market square Veronicas to present the traditional kitchen garden.

The Department of Political Equality and Development Cooperation, headed Alicia Barquero, has organized nine days in which members of the women's centers of New Javalí, Santa Eulalia, Fleet, Vistalegre, Ermita de Burgos, Casillas and teach Zarandona Murcia to cook dishes such as ratatouille pot pork, rice and beans, rabbit cabañil garlic, fresh salad, oxtail, tripe, donuts and paparajotes.

Women show how to cook the dish and talk about their history, curiosities and variants.

Classes will start at 11.30 am and are free.

Anyone can go to witness them.

The shows begin on October 3 with the Center for Women's New Javalí, on October 10 St. Eualalia cook, Fleet 17, 24 Vistalegre, October 31 Ermita de Burgos, November 7 Casillas and Vistalegre Vistalegre Nov. 14, Nov. 21 Santa Eulalia and 28 November, the last class will be in charge of Zarandona.

Alicia Barquero held a meeting this morning with the women participating in this initiative to finalize the details.

The objective of this initiative is to involve the Centers for Women to publicize traditional recipes from the garden of Murcia, passing from mother to daughter.
