Murcia City Council has opened the deadline for associations, federations and organizations, working for gender equality, apply for participation in the Municipal Council of Equality.

The period will close on November 13.

The Municipal Plan includes the creation Equality Municipal Council of Equality as an advisory body for the participation of associations, federations and organizations working for equal rights and opportunities between genders.

The functions of this Council is to offer women and organizations working for equal opportunity and gender appropriate channel for their participation in the development of the Equal Opportunities Policy municipal promote measures and proposals to different bodies and agencies to carry out actions to achieve gender equality, and channel proposals, suggestions or complaints collective or individual for treatment in municipal bodies with jurisdiction in the matter.

Applications for membership of the Council should be submitted through the General Register of the City of Murcia.
