Next week there will be various activities to raise public awareness about the negative consequences of irrational use of the car in the city
The Department of Environment, through the Local Energy Agency, makes this 2012 effort to organize a year's European Mobility Week which starts on Tuesday and runs until Saturday 22.
This year the City Council wants the Murcia again enjoy the activities that were successful last year, as well as introducing new ones.
The theme chosen for the European Mobility Week is "Join the Mobility Plans your city: move in the right direction", with which it intends to reflect on the role that Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans can play in our cities.
Within this week, the council will launch the IV Drawing Contest: Bicycle, addressed to all Township school and Primary Education.
This competition aims to contribute to an education where concepts, sustainable mobility, climate change and renewable energy, are incorporated into the language of our school and later embodied in the drawings of all participating children.
Activities will begin on Tuesday, September 18 with the launch of an electronic parking geolocator Web bikes.
