IU-Greens accused the Transport Advisory Council of "manipulating" information on new bus routes (07/09/2012)

The IU-Greens councilor in the city of Murcia, José Ignacio Tornel, today accused the Transport Advisory Council "manipulating information" to claim to have created four new bus routes, according to the left, " but such is not the result of merging or eliminating twelve ".

Tornel has indicated that the Transportation Advisory Council of the Region of Murcia "sold cuts and reduced services as a mere rearrangement, and omitted information regarding frequency cuts".

In this regard, he cited as an example that the Council stresses reinforcement to line the pool at certain times "but says that will not reduce the number of buses that service, from 4-3 and therefore reducing the frequency of 20 to 30 minutes. "

Also stressed that "the lines 28 and 29 increase the timeout instead of reducing it, as the Council says," while the 39 that goes to campus Espinardo, only works on weekdays and stay in the air the reinforcements rush hour. "

Also Tornel reiterated that "this process has been quite unfortunate because these reforms have been hiding the truth and information to the public, to make public exposure in the month of August."

Therefore, from IU-Greens call for "less misleading campaigns and citizen participation."
