Councillor of Culture, Rafael Gomez, received this morning the 'Golden Horse' Cattle Fair, the highest distinction of the Cattle Fair granted to institutions or individuals for their support of the Fair.
Gomez stressed pride to receive this award at this show which is the germ of Murcia Fair, established by Alfonso X the Wise in the thirteenth century.
Its long tradition was broken during the fifties to be reborn, with more force, 18 years ago.
Today is the big day of the Cattle Fair Horse Day, with a parade of horsemen and carriages that began in the Azacaya, Beniaján road, bridge Fica, Mayor Jorge Palacios Avenue, Paseo de Garay, Lieutenant Flomesta , Gran Vía, Maestro Alonso, Santa Clara, to finish in Alfonso X the Wise, where participants walk.
Tonight, at 22 am, you can attend a dog training show on the campus of The Azacaya, then close the XVIII edition of the Cattle Fair.
