Agents of the National Police assigned to the Provincial Brigade of the Judicial Police have arrested a man 45 years old and a Spanish national, on suspicion of assault with a knife to a resident of the hamlet of Garres.
The incident took place at dawn on Saturday, 28th July, when an argument broke out between two residents of the hamlet, apparently motivated by the ownership of a car radio cassette.
After crossing threats and insults, attacked one another with a knife produciéndole seriously injured in the abdomen.
The wounded man, a boy of 44 years old and Spanish nationality was transferred to the Hospital Virgen de La Arrixaca where he underwent surgery for his injuries.
Investigations into the events allowed researchers to identify almost immediately the offender who was arrested on the afternoon of the day July 28.
Following the instruction of the statement, the detainee, who is charged with an offense of attempted murder, was brought before the Magistrate's Court in Murcia Guard on 30 July.
