IU-Greens today denounced the "sloppiness" of the Municipal district of St. Pius X, in Murcia, with the increase in brownfield sites "that are becoming illegal dumping and overgrown areas and rubble."
The voice of IU-Green in the said Board, John David Babyack, recalled that his organization already warned of this situation and requested the cleaning of the lots in several plenary sessions of the Municipal Board, including a motion was rejected by the PP.
Babyack has warned that these ordinances violate solar street cleaning and Building, and give "a picture of neglect and filth" that has been denounced by neighbors to what the Board "ignored".
"There are two sites whose fences are broken and soil, and waste builds up inside, while another, near the railroad tracks, has become a thicket and undergrowth cover and the curb, preventing their use."
He noted that the Chairman of the Board, faced with complaints from neighbors about the existence of rodents in the sun, "has argued that if rats are day is because they are sick and go off to die."
Thus, IU-Green will present a motion in the full Board next September for these problems is solutions.
