The UCAM signs a collaboration agreement with the Association of Journalists (20/07/2012)

San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) has this morning signed a collaboration agreement with the Association of Journalists of the Region of Murcia.

The agreement was signed by the president of the UCAM, Jose Luis Mendoza, and by the dean of the College of Journalists of the Region of Murcia, Juan Antonio De Heras.

The agreement aims at establishing and creating a broad framework of collaboration between the signatories to the development, promotion, growth and development of activities, materials and projects of common interest and competence in the field of communication.

Similarly, the agreement includes the signing of specific agreements between the Association of Journalists and the UCAM, including the School of Communication and Journalism Practice, part of the School of Communication at the educational institution.

These include actions such as work experience students from the UCAM on the premises of the College, the collaboration between both parties for the selection of companies, organizations and institutions in order for students to do internships in them, or work together to precolegiación favor of Journalism students.

Also, note that the agreement also includes among its areas, boosting the implementation of research activities, which show the status and development of journalism in the area of ​​Murcia, identifying new career opportunities for graduates and, from them, encourage the creation of many courses of specialization appropriate to understand the incorporation of dynamic labor market journalists.
