The full service municipal gardens allow for greater management efficiency and reduced costs and inconvenience to citizens (18/07/2012)

Optimizing resources and improving efficiency, citizen services and management are the keys that summarize in general terms the new service of conservation and maintenance of gardens and woodland alignment of the municipality of Murcia.

For the first time in history, the city of Murcia will bring to hiring a service of the council of the Environment, led by Adela Martinez-Cachá, which includes the entire service provided in terms of gardens and woodland, and that to date the contracts were formalized separately.

This new service, whose specification has this morning received the approval of the Governing Board of the City of Murcia, will host the complete maintenance of green areas in the municipality of Murcia being solely and exclusively, cleaning and lighting for hire to another company.

The service contract will be for a term of four years, renewable annually for two years.

The maximum amount of service for recruitment will be 29.9 million euros.

The improvement over previous contracts will be seen mainly in:

Increased area of ​​gardens to maintain and preserve

The winner will have a service phone and email to address citizen calls or email 24 hours a day, 365 days / year.
