The Department of Tourism, headed by Miguel Cascales, has already launched the campaign 'Imagine', to attract tourists to the beaches from Benidorm to Mojacar.
Has already started the distribution of 20,000 leaflets in 136 establishments in the beach areas of Alicante and Murcia, and 30,000 leaflets in 126 hotels in Mojacar coast from Benidorm.

During the weekends of July and August, visiting the beaches of Mar Menor, La Manga, Orihuela Costa, Torrevieja, Guardamar, Santa Pola, Alicante, San Juan, Villajoyosa and Benidorm on the northern route, and Calblanque, Cartagena, Mazarron, Aguilas, Mojácar and Carboneras, on the southern route.
The main objective of this initiative is to invite the 5 million tourists who visit the beaches from Benidorm to Mojacar to visit Murcia, and are offered the opportunity to enjoy the cuisine, shopping and culture as the brochures are slogans like ' A capital to suck fingers', 'A capital to escape Cart' and 'A capital to stroll through the Baroque'.

It is betting on the promotion of tourism growth, trade and economic attractive municipal campaigns to attract visitors to the city.
The leaflets have been distributed on beaches that are 75 minutes from Murcia at most, as Mojacar, 60 minutes and 35 as Benidorm or Torrevieja.
This initiative is part of the Tourism Promotion Plan 'Murcia 365' which aims to attract visitors to the town every day of the year.
