68 students work in building the Local Police Headquarters of La Alberca, while learning a trade (10/07/2012)

Sixty-eight students in vocational training for employment in various disciplines while working in the construction of the Local Police Headquarters in La Alberca.

The objective of this project is the integration of unemployed people aged 18 to 24 years, through his skill in alternation with work.

The student-workers receive training in the fields of masonry and restoration, carpentry, joinery, ironmongery, aluminum carpentry, plumbing, heating and solar thermal energy, electricity and renewables, gardening and the environment.

A 86.76% are male and the rest (13.24% women).

57 students are Spanish, 4 in Ecuador, 2 from Colombia, 2 from Morocco, 1 from Senegal, 1 Ukrainian and 1 in Gambia.

In addition to specific training courses are offered basic training.

When the project only had the ESO graduate by 27, 90% of the students and the third phase a year later he has a 58.13%.

Each student worker has so far received 2,880 hours of occupational training, and 365 hours of mandatory training (basic training, prevention of occupational hazards, computer literacy, gender equality, job search resources, economy, social and environmental awareness) parallel specific training in the specialty.

They have also attended 110 hours of training to complete their training transverse comprehensive addiction prevention courses, learning skills, technical drawing and emotional skills for employability and training in prevention of occupational risks and to obtain license professionals.

The headquarters of the local police in La Alberca has an area of ​​2,473 square meters, spread over basement, ground floor and three floors.

The building is accessible to disabled people and have systems to save water and energy.

Currently we are working on the second and final phase will be completed by early 2013 with headquarters fully completed.
