During today is developing in El Palmar Prime Warhammer Fantasy Tournament, organized by the Youth Association The Goblin in the new youth resource center El Palmar Youth Space, managed by the Local Youth Council of Murcia and ownership municipality.
A score of young people, some coming from other municipalities from the province of Murcia and Alicante from, are participating in this tournament, which also are coming many young people and residents of El Palmar and public sectors.
The Warhammer Fantasy is a game of strategy and heroic fantasy, in which players assemble and paint their own miniature armies.
These miniatures are made consistent items in battles between the various units of the players on a board with diverse scenery such as trees, houses, rocks and hills.
During the morning are celebrating the first two rounds of the tournament, and this afternoon will be held the third round and awards ceremony.
In addition to prizes for first, second and third place, be given an award for best painted army and the participant who has made a better background, consisting of a written narrative that gives the basis of their army.
In addition, several prizes raffled among the remaining non-winning participants.
The youth resource center El Palmar Youth Space is a new municipal facility serving youth, which is open to the public since last May and inherits the attempts carried out youth participation in El Palmar in the last ten years Youth Center Lower.
