The Governing Council of the University of Murcia held on Thursday, July 12, a special session will be devoted to the study monographically cuts, as was stated today the Rector, José Antonio Cobacho.
Cobacho made the announcement at the start of the regular meeting that the university governing body was held today in the building of Convalescence, home of the Chancellor.
In this special meeting will be analyzed both proposals presented by the rector and team options that have made the members of the commission that was created recently and in which were represented the various groups in the University.
The president has referred to the efforts the team has presided during all these months for the impact of cuts it intends to make the autonomous region as small as possible and not to affect the quality of teaching and research .
Cobacho has predicted that, in fact, expect to return before next Thursday to meet with representatives of the Autonomous Community of Murcia.
The Council approved at its meeting on various issues today, as the contents of several cooperation agreements to be signed with various organizations and entities.
