140 young people do work experience in companies Murcia thanks to Vocational Training Program (26/06/2012)

About 140 young people attending an Initial Vocational Training Program (IPPP) in the city of Murcia begin on Thursday June 28 to perform labor practices at 60 companies in the municipality who collaborate with the city of Murcia for students to have their first experience work in real working conditions.

These are young people aged 16 to 18 who dropped out of secondary school and in November 2011 began to study a program of Professional Qualification (PCPI), which gives them the opportunity to rejoin the system education, while being trained as apprentices in a trade.

During this course students PCPI Murcia City Council have formed in 8 profiles: Electrotechnical and Communications Facilities, Welding, Food, Hair, Aesthetics, Commerce and store, plumbing, air conditioning and vehicle maintenance.

Now do 150 hours of supervised practice by teachers and under the direction of a technical or business partner and the end may be employed under a contract of training or pursue their studies a year in a center for adult education obtain the Diploma in ESO

This program has been funded by the Autonomous Region with € 499,183.

Currently pre-registration period open to study programs of this nature next year.

Have been offered 164 seats to form 11 groups of 15 students / as each.

The training will be provided in training centers that the City has in Murcia (exhibition FICA) and Palmar, and the requirement is that they are young in the municipality of Murcia, 16 to 20 who have left the ESO without holder.
