Monserrate Lopez Chamber of Redován, Alicante, has won the Painting Prize XIII Area Arts University of Murcia, with the play "Ghost residence. Made in Spain".
A work of Lee House and was selected in 2010 as the prize for painting at the University of Murcia.
The award, sponsored by the Fundación Vicente Fuentes, is endowed with 8000 euros.
Similarly, two separate jury awarded honorable mentions two other works: "Llo 21.3" Christophe Prat (Felanitx, Balearic Islands) and "Altered States in the nanotechnology era" by Jose Antonio Hernandez Albero Kribi Heral (Biar, Allicante).
The ruling came Wednesday June 20 at the premises of the Museum of the University of Murcia, a former artillery barracks.
This edition has had the participation of 121 works from all over the country and several European countries.
The 24 works selected by the jury will be exhibited in the last quarter of the year in Almudí Palace Arts Center.
The Jury Prize for Painting XIII was composed of the Rector of the University of Murcia Jose Antonio Gomez Cobacho as Honorary Chairman, Martin Burruezo Paez, director Almudí Palace Arts Center of Murcia, and painters Anton Patino Perez, Soledad Sevilla Portillo Rose and Dr. Brun Jaén Honoris Causa by the University of Murcia Pedro Cano, new addition this year, acting as secretary Carmen Veas Arteseros, Technical Service Culture at the University of Murcia.
