Four of the six detainees are minors
Agents of the Police Headquarters of the Region of Murcia have broken up an organized group made up of two men of 48 years and 43 years old and four minors, who have attributed several thefts from storage rooms of properties in Murcia.
The investigations began several weeks ago, when detecting an increase in bicycle thefts and found that in most of them were noted common characteristics such as the bicycle storage rooms are subtracted from homes and garages.
The steps performed by the agents allowed to determine that the perpetrators of these crimes integrated an organized group composed of several individuals which shared tasks.
Thus, some of the children located the objects and others were responsible for the actual execution of the robbery, while the adults took care of making a profit by selling stolen bikes.
After checking the front ends, on May 29 was carried out the arrest of those responsible for the events under investigation, achieving recover a total of six bicycles and other objects such as laptops and mobile phones.
The analysis of data collected during the investigation has resulted in the allocation of prisoners from a total of 22 robberies.
All those arrested have already been made available to the court and prosecutor.
Some of the recovered bikes have been delivered to their owners, while the rest are in the police district of El Carmen, where any citizen who has been robbed of this kind can go to see if there are effects that you were taken.
The operation was carried out by agents of the Commissioners for District and San Andrés del Carmen, along with the Minor Group of the Provincial Brigade of the Judicial Police of Murcia.
