Murcia City Council welcomes the presentation of the book "Level of CSR in companies in the Region of Murcia", study conducted by the Councillor of Finance and Manuel Isabel Martinez Conesa Larrán.
The presentation will take place on Friday 15 June at 11.30 am in the Hall of the City Hall annex building.
In the presentation of the study involved the president of the Spanish Association of Accounting and Business Admnistración-AECA-Cañibano Leandro, the director of the Institute for the Promotion of Region-INFO-Murcia, Juan Hernandez, the dean of the College of Economists of the Region of Murcia, Ramon Madrid, the director of Circle of Economy of the Region of Murcia, Jesus Pacheco and the director of the RSC Chair of the University of Murcia, Longinus Marin.
The study presented is the first of its kind in the region of Murcia on corporate social responsibility.
This work demonstrates the commitment that companies have adquiridocon Murcia CSR and how they have attempted to improve relations with its stakeholders on economic, social and environmental.
This publication has been developed by researchers at the Centre CSR-SMEs in the CSR Chair at the University of Murcia on a sample of 552 companies in the region.
Analyze what is the level of implementation of CSR practices associated with the various interest groups and the motivations and barriers faced by companies to implement CSR and the effects the crisis has had on it.
The results of this study may be useful for companies, business associations, public institutions, citizens and anyone interested in knowing your level of CSR implementation in the Murcian companies and therefore can make decisions to strengthen the level of CSR to the extent that may affect a significant improvement in competitiveness.
