National Police have arrested two brothers for allegedly extorting money from businessmen engaged in the distribution of fruits and vegetables.

The two were arrested in a property company that provides agricultural products and food sold to victims of poor quality by forcing them to pay a premium price.

There are losers in different Spanish provinces like Barcelona, ​​Tarragona, Lleida, Valencia and Murcia.

The investigations began when a small food company filed a complaint in Murcia in recounting a citizen, an Italian, were forced to pay a debt of € 15,000 under threat.

This person pushed the victim bragging about having sex with the Sicilian Mafia, and warned that in case of not making payments or to communicate the fact to the police warn her "people" to clarify the matter.

Following initial inquiries, officers discovered that there were other cases of extortion of businessmen engaged in the manufacture, export and sale of fruits and vegetables.

These victims were located in Spanish geographical locations such as Barcelona, ​​Tarragona, Lleida, Valencia and Murcia.

"Cat in a poke"

The researchers found that there were two brothers who allegedly engaged in extortion sector employers, and that made it through a food supply company that had owned.

Victims charge to the merchant class products but received a lot of other lesser quality or even, in some cases impossible sale.

Despite breaching the conditions agreed by coercion forced them to pay the originally agreed price.

When employers refused to make payment of the commission, the arrested threatened them with phrases like "there are people falling from the fifth floor and nobody knows why ... careful ... I have family relations with the Sicilian Mafia."

If this did not work they tried to intimidate individuals using goon-looking complexion strong, tattoos and gold pendants, which were presented in their business to ensure the recovery scaring employers.

Investigations have been carried out by agents of Group 1 of the Kidnapping and Extortion Section of the Supreme Headquarters Murcia, Barcelona Supreme Headquarters, the police station in Castellón de la Plana and with the assistance of the Unit Kidnapping and Extortion of the Catalan police.
