The Women's Center of San Antolin honors people who have worked for the advancement of women (07/06/2012)

The Women's Center of San Antolin, led by Maria Dolores Bolarín, celebrates its Cultural Week with a ceremony to honor those women who have excelled in the municipality for their work and effort.

This edition is distinguished retired women who have worked for the advancement of women.

The honorees are: Pilar Murcia, Teresa Soler, Ana Alcaraz, English and Angelita Carmen Bastida.

The Aldermen of Social Welfare and Health, María del Carmen Pelegrin, and Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, participated in the ceremony and stressed the importance of such actions to encourage women in the municipality to continue working and fighting for equality and to make more visible the presence of women in all spheres of society.

The tribute has had the presenter Antonio Hidalgo and starring Choir Women's Center of San Antolin, who have made a paso doble for the 125 anniversary of the Bullfighting Club Murcia.
