The City offers 1380 seats for the 25 summer schools to be held in the municipality during the month of June (07/06/2012)

The registration period will open on Monday, June 11 and runs until Friday 15 entertain, teach and create for a sustainable world are the goals of schools that will be held from 2 to 13 July, 10-13 hours

Murcia City Council is organizing a year's summer school in July.

A total of 25 schools held summer, dependent on the Culture Department, of which six were held in El Carmen, Sangonera la Seca, Cobatillas and St. Pius X, Pain and Valladolises, in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Health.

As usual, also made some with the cooperation of the departments of Education (use of public schools) and Sports (use of swimming pools and sports centers).

The summer schools of the Municipality of Murcia proposes entertain, teach and create for a sustainable world for all children by organizing / attending school as a series of workshops and activities related to these matters.

1380 are offered 365 seats of which reflect a joint approach with the Department of Social Welfare and Health.

Children born between 2000 to 2005 inclusive, will enjoy these activities (the exceptions to the years indicated, may be reflected in the fact sheets).

The dates of the schools are from 2 to 13 July and the schedule of activities is from 10 to 13 generally.

The most common contents of the Summer School program will include activities and energy-related workshops, theater, visual arts, sports, movies, stories, diversity, etc..

Trips and excursions to Terra Natura, El Valle, Ice Skating in Elche, and visits, museums, swimming pools.

Ages of participants: born in the years 2000 to 2005 in general.

The exceptions are detailed in each booklet.

Undertaken: From 2 to July 13.

Time period: 10 to 13 hours from Monday to Friday.

Registration period: from 11 to 15 June.

Registration Hours: 17 to 21 hours, at each center.

Las actividades, estarán encaminadas a la consecución de objetivos como:

1.- Posibilitar la realización de actividades alternativas de ocio en el tiempo libre de los niños/as durante el verano.

2.- Fomentar actitudes de tolerancia y solidaridad entre los niños/as.

3.- Facilitar mediante las actividades, la participación, intercambio y colaboración entre los niños/as.

4.- Favorecer la formación en técnicas y actividades de talleres que puedan ser aplicadas posteriormente en el ocio veraniego.

5.- Propiciar los aspectos lúdicos, “se lo pasen bien†en las actividades.

6.- A reconocer en nuestro entorno la diversidad ambiental y fomentar su conocimiento y comprensión.

7.- Aprender a crear para un mundo sostenible.

En general, estarán relacionadas con el Medio Ambiente, Artes Plásticas, Deportes, Cine, Teatro, la ciencia, excursiones al medio natural, etc.
