San Antonio Catholic University (UCAM) yesterday welcomed the signing of two bilateral agreements on mutual cooperation, one with the Bar Association of Attorneys of the Courts of Murcia, and another with the Bar Association of Lorca.
The agreement, formalized in separate ceremonies, were signed by the President of the UCAM, Jose Luis Mendoza, and the Deans of the Colleges of Attorneys of Murcia and Lorca Bar, José Miguel Hurtado, and Javier Campoy, respectively.
The Dean of the College of Attorneys of the Courts of Murcia, Jose Miguel Hurtado: Pleased to formalize this agreement between the UCAM, and the College of Procurators of Murcia, and explained that this agreement will bring other benefits, the possibility by law students UCAM of professional work experience in the network of law firms and professional offices attached to the College of Procurators, the development of joint training and dissemination activities within the scope of Legal Science, as such as seminars, symposia, and conferences specialized and informative publications momentum.
Hurtado also emphasized that this agreement also involves the creation of a mixed and dynamic common framework, aimed at developing the future Master of access to the profession of Attorney and Title Proper Diploma in Mediation and Arbitration, the UCAM .
The Dean of the College of Lawyers of Lorca, Javier Campoy: stressed that the signing of this agreement, which complements and updates the agreement between the Catholic and Bar Lorca in 2009, has as main objective to ensure full and proper compliance with external practices to be carried out within the Master's degree of access to the legal profession of the UCAM, according to parameters established by Act requirement for access to the professions of barrister and solicitor of the courts.
