An avenue of Cabezo de Torres has today exconcejal the name of the People's Party in the city of Murcia Remigio Lopez Martinez, who died in 2010.
Mayor Miguel Angel House, accompanied by most members of the government team has discovered this morning that the board calls the road, located just off Avenida High Watchtowers.
The event was attended by the widow, daughters and granddaughters of Remigio Lopez, as well as presidents of municipal boards of districts and former councilors.
Endearing person and treatment near his disappearance caused deep gloom in the Municipal People's Party and at City Hall, where he was elected alderman in 1999.
Throughout its 11 years of municipal responsibility addressed the areas of Trade, Prevention and Fire Fighting, Civil Protection and Development Cooperation.
His commitment to Murcia earned him numerous awards, including a preacher in various neighborhoods and districts.
In 2009 he was honored as Cabezudo of Honor Burial of the Sardine, and a year later he received the Gold Legon Huerta de Murcia granted by the Federation of Peñas vegetable garden.
Extensive professional
