The City of Murcia, through the Department of Social Welfare and Health, which runs María del Carmen Pelegrin, continues to carry out physiotherapy service in the 76 senior centers in the municipality of Murcia, an initiative that has developed since the year 1996.
The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has given the green light this morning to the extension of service physical therapy aimed at greater social centers in the municipality of Murcia.
The service aims to provide individual attention that will help to preserve and restore maximum levels of autonomy, mobility and independence of older people.
The consultations shall address specific problems and preventing its effects or consequences.
As a complement also held talks on prevention and health education, such as postural education and back school, and also monitored gerontogimnasia courses.
