The Mayor pleasing dedication to Murcia at 41 officials this year have ended his career in the City Council (18/05/2012)

The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, thanked the dedication shown by Murcia City Council 41 workers in 2012 put an end to his career as city officials.

Coinciding with the feast of Saint Rita, patroness of the Local Government, the Plenary Hall has hosted this morning by the act of homage to the city employees who have completed their career.

Chamber has awarded a badge and shield of the City to each of them and widows of the two officers who have died in the last year.

The Mayor has addressed the attendees and emphasized the "recognition of the Municipal Corporation, as representatives of all citizens on the role of dedicated service to the general interest of Murcia and Murcia."

Before the ceremony held at the Plenary Hall, the Mayor, accompanied by the Councillor for Security and Human Resources, Nuria Fuentes, along with other members of the Corporation and city officials, attended the Mass celebrated in the chapel of the Vélez the Cathedral.
