The Museum Ramon Gaya joins the European commemoration of "The Night of Museums", which this year dedicated to the music (08/05/2012)

The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, has this morning signed the cooperation agreement with Iberdrola to sponsor event

"Ramón Gaya and Music" is the central theme that will focus on the Night of Museums, which will see pictures and tributes to Mozart, Victoria de los Angeles, Pastora Imperio and Beethoven.

The initiative, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Communication of France in 2005, is held in partnership with Iberdrola, sole sponsor of the event.

Will take place on 18 and 19 May.

For this, the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, has this morning signed the cooperation agreement with the delegate of the company in Murcia, Patricio Valverde, which sets out the details of this cultural cooperation.

During opening night, visitors will discover a fun and free event aims to attract new audiences to programming designed especially for the celebration: play of light, musical performances, and other actions for two nights in dialogue with the museum's permanent collection .

The main purpose of this initiative is to make the museum more accessible to the public in general and in particular the younger ones.

The Council of Europe and UNESCO sponsors the festival and the French Federation of Friends of Museums and the Meeting of the National Museums French (MRI) are institutional partners of the event.
