Two courses for teachers of the Faculty of Education awards obtained OCW (04/05/2012)

Professors of the Faculty of Education at the University of Murcia Pedro Angel Lopez and Pedro Luis Rodriguez Miñarro Garcia obtained a special mention to the subject better prizes worth ME (Ministry of Education)-Universia the OCW (Open Course Ware .)

In addition, Maria Jose Martinez Segura, professor of the Faculty of Education, won second prize in the category to the subject more accessible.

The awards of the call, which aims to promote air transmission through the Internet, the subjects used by academics in the development of their teaching, were presented at a ceremony attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Martin Concepcion, which is part of the celebration in Murcia of the Twelfth Annual General Meeting of Universia.

The subject teachers Miñarro Lopez and Rodriguez Garcia, "Physical Activity for Health", seeks to move the student-forming function of physical activity, analyzing the scientific knowledge generated around physical activity oriented to welfare, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the formation of autonomous individuals capable of managing in the future, their own physical activity health-oriented.

For its part, the course "Biopathology of Disability", by Professor Segura Martinez, about socio reality of people with disabilities and develop content that prepare future teachers for educational interventions, social, research and prevention.

Over the course will analyze and evaluate the limitations that disability results in the activity of the person, so the professional future, identifying the constraints in the daily, to participate in the actual organization of the supports necessary for socio- reduce the impact of disability on the person and his family.

As regards the main prize, went to the faculty of the University of Cantabria Esperanza Elena Saiz Alvarez, Maria Begoña Sánchez Madariaga, Maria Teresa Herrero Martinez, Maria Reyes and Joaquin Garcia Ruiz Cobo Ortiz, on the subject Calculus I.

The runners have been for Francisco Javier Perez de la Cruz, Juan Garcia Bermejo, Mario Urrea Mallebrera, Polytechnic University of Cartagena, on the subject of Water Supply, and Beatriz Miguel Hernandez, Mercedes Alacid Prisons, Jose Antonio Fernandez Lopez, Gerardo Leon Albert, María José Martínez García and Juan Ignacio Moreno Sanchez of the University, by the General Chemistry course.

As for the prize to the subject more accessible, corresponded to Lourdes Lopez Moreno and Paloma Martínez Fernández, Carlos III University, by avoiding the subject of accessibility barriers in the information society.
