The UCAM presents the spin-off San Antonio Technologies (24/02/2012)

San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM), has this morning signed the incorporation documents of San Antonio Technologies, the technology-based company spin-off-of the university.

Note that this is a new initiative of the UCAM contributing to the training of professionals and entrepreneurs in the food industry, and that brings students to the world of business.

The company, coordinated by the Vice President for Research, and associate dean of Food Technology of the UCAM, Star Nunez and Professor Javier Moran, have applied along the value chain of food, ie from the basic idea to the marketing and make UCAM an institution of international standing in biomedicine and biotechnology, and attractive to companies and researchers in the sector.

Similarly, San Antonio Technologies aims to establish itself as a single window in activities related to biotechnology and biomedicine, enhance recovery and commercialization of research in life sciences for innovations coming to market, promote the consolidation of the biotech business Murcia and Spanish and work in a better public perception of biotechnology, its benefits and applications.
