The Progress and Democracy Union Group in the city of Murcia raised at the next meeting of the board of directors of Aguas de Murcia a reduction in the price of water bill for the municipality of Murcia.
Ruben Serna, spokeswoman for UPyD Murcia, as director of the municipal company is putting on the table that the company setting water prices.
Serna believes that "the current crisis would be a relief, however small, to all households in the municipality of Murcia".
To the mayor also "ideally, the petition would conduct the entire Municipal Corporation, all together."
To UPyD Murcia, the lowering of prices for water of the Tajo-Segura at the Council of Ministers last 17 days both for irrigation and for drinking should impact on citizens.
As noted by Serna, "maintain current prices" when there has been a reduction of costs "is not understandable."
Serna recalls that municipalities are free in this case are the ones to decide whether or not the reduction in prices.
