The new street lighting contract from the municipality will reduce spending by 30% (20/02/2012)

The service, which has awarded the company Electromur SA also provides for the replacement and renewal of luminaires

The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has recently approved the award of maintenance of street lighting and inspection of the premises wiring and transformer of municipal ownership, worth 18.7 million euros and for a period of four years, extendable to two.

The amount has been reduced by 30%.

This contract includes maintenance of all elements that form the street lighting facilities, including replacement of lamps faulty.

In addition to the obligation to subrogate to all staff currently seconded to the service, amounting to about 80 people.

The concessionaire will carry out the work of the drive daily work, monitoring and control of facilities and replacement of materials, lamps and troubleshooting, and general all operations that require the preservation and maintenance of Network Lighting, and the tasks of inspection, control and maintenance.

The contractor will perform the maintenance, repair or replacement of the lights and all its components, both mechanical and electrical: envelope, seal, reflector, ballast, capacitor, lamp, wiring and connections, control equipment and energy saving, power food, and any other original.

You also have the obligation to take the necessary maintenance of the various events that the City perform on a regular basis throughout the year, as Spring Festival, Christmas celebrations in September, Easter ... in addition to also carry out inspection electrical installations in buildings of municipal ownership.
