A blog by a professor at the University of Murcia Jose Manuel López Nicolás leads since last January, the international ranking of Biology Blogs.
Since last January, the blog "Scientia" ranks first in the international ranking of E-buzzing-speaking blogs of popular science in the biology section, in addition to being within the top 15 blogs in the general section of Sciences.
Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Murcia, where he is currently Professor, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology-A, Jose Manuel Lopez Nicolas, in his own words has "the privilege of working in two of his biggest hobbies, teaching in all "Biocarreras" (Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry ...) and research in bioactive compounds. "
Nicolas Lopez is a member of "Bioencapsulation Research Group" and author of "New Food of the XXI Century", and for over a year science reports on the Blog "Scientia" (http://scientia1.wordpress.com/)
In his blog, this biochemist talks of many subjects related to science, highlighting their contributions in the field of biochemistry, nutrition, biotechnology, food technology and many others.
It also analyzes various aspects deeply present university from the standpoint of teaching and research, and even fosters among its students the popularization of science.
