Journalist and Director of the School of Protocol and Master of Protocol and Image Consulting of San Antonio Catholic University (UCAM), Salvador Hernandez, recently received the appointment as Secretary General of the International Protocol (ICPO), an important international body composed of a large number of professional associations and organizations linked to the Protocol, from more than a dozen countries throughout the world.
Salvador Hernandez, welcomed his appointment as Secretary General of the ICPO and held that after the elections in late 2011 to mark the election of the new board, the office of President of the Organization and Secretary-General were borne by Spanish, having been, borne for years by professionals in other countries.
Hernandez said that since his new responsibility to fight for all professionals in the Protocol, to feel represented and see their rights recognized.
"Belonging to a strong organization necessarily implies among other responsibilities, to defend a set of ethical principles to ensure the proper practice, promote the organization of training activities and fight for the recognition of professional work through the accreditation."
The teacher also claimed the Protocol as a university discipline and emphasized the strong commitment of the UCAM for training in this field.
"My position as Secretary General of the ICPO allow me to contribute to the work of the Catholic University San Antonio increase its international impact through educational activities such as International Conference UCAM Protocol and Institutional Relations to be held during the next 15 days and March 16 and will intervene where a large list of prestigious national and international experts in the Protocol, "he said.
