The Catholic University San Antonio (UCAM) and the Professional Association of Occupational Therapists in the Region of Murcia, today signed a bilateral agreement for mutual cooperation, aimed at the promotion of training and research in the field of occupational therapy through scholarships, research awards, creation of training programs and exchange programs for researchers, research project development and promotion of various promotional activities such as courses, seminars and lectures specialized.
The document was signed by the heads of both institutions, Jose Luis Mendoza, Diego and Paloma, in the presence of the Director of Official Degree in Occupational Therapy UCAM, Maria de los Angeles Jiménez.
The President of the Catholic University San Antonio, Jose Luis Mendoza, and the President of the Professional Association of Occupational Therapists in the Region of Murcia, Paloma de Diego, have expressed satisfaction with the signing of this agreement and stressed its importance and significance of face of the promotion, dissemination and value of occupational therapy in the Region.
José Luis Mendoza has expressed his special fondness and admiration for the discipline, has stressed the importance of these studies within the training offered by the University and recalled the great social and welfare work developed by occupational therapists for all those who suffer from some type of difficulty, disability or physical or mental impairment.
Meanwhile Diego Dove said that "this agreement provides a line level collaborative teaching and research between the College of Occupational Therapists and the UCAM, a university that has always been very strong bet for this discipline through their Official Degree in Occupational Therapy. "
