The latest addition has been Lobosillo covered pavilion, inaugurated by the Mayor this afternoon in a ceremony attended, among others, the Minister of the Presidency, Manuel Campos, the Councillor for Sports, Miguel Cascales, and District Councillor Campo de Murcia, Manuel Duran, along with the mayors Maria del Carmen Pelegrin, Iniesta and Cosme Javier Ruiz.
With this opening, the municipality has now covered pavilions with 36, 28 of them in districts, including that of Lobosillo was the first-along with the reconstructed Cagigal, which entered service in the legislature.
The existence of 36 facilities of this nature represents a clear example of the investments made by the City in recent years and the momentum behind the sport base in recent years.
The new pavilion is located in the equipment area near the industrial estate Lobosillo and is very close to Professor Enrique Tierno school.
The pavilion will be used by the residents of the district and school sport outside school hours.
Thus, the school community have the facilities to service the 17 hours from then until 20 hours will be reserved for sports schools and thereafter may be rented by groups of neighbors and Lobosillo.
The pavilion has required an investment of 750,000 euros, 564,000 euros of which were provided by the Autonomous Community.
To meet the expenses of maintenance of the Department of Sports facility has a planned budget of 63,500 euros per year.
The pavilion has an area of ​​1,400 m2 and has an indoor sports hall, changing rooms, storage rooms and lobby.
Ready for the practice of indoor football, handball, basketball and volleyball.
