The IU-Green spokesman in Murcia, Esther Herguedas, has filed a motion to the next plenary municipal requesting the council to remove road-building material works whose license is expired.
Herguedas noted that due to the economic crisis many of the works are undertaken in the municipality are unfinished and abandoned, which makes space "very dangerous" for citizens.
He indicated that the materials that were used in some of these works occupy part of the public land, "shrinking by narrow sidewalks that do not meet the provisions of the Access Act, installing terraces and street furniture."
