Reissued their brochures in English and are translating all the explanatory panels Visitors Centers
The new brochures include a QR code reader for iPhone and Android web links directly to the City Council of Tourism
The Department of Tourism, headed by Miguel Cascales, commitment to internationalization and language to attract more tourists to the municipality and provide information on the city to all visitors.
Cascales presented at the International Tourism Fair (Fitur), held in Madrid, new brochures have been reprinted in English.
It has been translated into English brochure Visitors Center of the Wall of Santa Eulalia, and has edited a new format of 'On the streets of Murcia'.
The latter can be found in Castilian and English, and has four routes through the streets of Murcia with photos, drawings and explanations.
These new brochures are also equipped with a QR code reader system called i-nigma which allows, via mobile phone, access the Web of Tourism www.turismodemurcia.es directly to detect the application of QR code booklet.
The Department of Tourism is also being translated into English explanatory panels of the Visitor Centre is currently working on the Wall of Santa Eulalia, and soon will be in San Antonio el Pobre and La Luz.
Miguel Cascales, recalled that a 22.10% of the tourists who passed through the Tourist Office are foreigners, of which 28.17% are a UK, France 20.38% and 8.83% of Germany.
The Tourism website is available in Castilian, English, French and German.
Meanwhile, the Councillor of Tourism continues to hold meetings with major national and international tour operators to publicize the three new packages 'Murcia Baroque', 'Discover Murcia' and 'happy Murcia' designed exclusively for the municipality.
These packages include accommodations in four star hotel with breakfast, guided tours and dining experiences, from 35 euros per person.
