The district of San Anton celebrates its patron saint (14/01/2012)

San Anton these days hosts a series of activities to commemorate the feast of pattern.

The celebration, which began on January 4, will continue these days with a series of events that will end next Saturday, January 21.

For today is expected the performance of the Band of the General Air Academy to be held at 12 am in the Auditorium of the Municipal Center castle gate.

Then, at 14 hours will open the tavern of the rock's Zaranda, which will remain open until next Tuesday, January 17.

Sunday, January 15

Delivery of trophies drawing competition for children and activities of the Academy of Dance Irene Cherry, with its ballet Eclipse.

14.30 hours.

A taste of traditional paella for all the neighbors.

Tasting of typical products in the rock The Zaranda.

Monday, January 16

12.00.

Mass of San Fulgencio, patron of the diocese, in the chapel.

19.30 hours.

Mass sung by the Choir of the Virgen de la Peña Fuensanta of San Isidro, La Panocha.

After the Mass there will be a procession of San Fulgencio on the streets of the neighborhood, accompanied by the local authorities and a band.

Tuesday, January 17

11.00 hours.

Exhibition of drawings on the festival of San Anton in neighborhood schools Fuensanta, Maestro Federico José Arce Castaño.

12.00.

Holy Mass and blessing of animals at the door of the chapel.

19.30 hours.

Mass sung by the choir and rondalla San Antonio de la Peña huertano The Zaranda.

A Mass attended by the Queen of the Garden and the president of the Federation of Peñas huerta of Murcia.

After the blessing of animals, will be moving processional image of Saint Anthony the parish church.
