Young Socialists claim back Murcia opening of the Teatro Romea (28/12/2011)

On the Day of the Holy Innocents, Socialist Youth organized the municipality of Murcia campaign, once again, to ask people to stop "dizzy" to Murcia with an opening of Rome that never comes.

"You know that the Romea opens today?" With this phrase and others like them, Socialist Youth of the Municipality of Murcia has taken its place in the Teatro Romea to request for the City Council to extend deadlines and stop making excuses, and available to all theater Murcia whose works and disputes between the session and never-ending construction company.

Dressed in black and white with the typical puppet pranks glued to the back, a dozen young socialists has walked in the vicinity of the theater talking to passersby about their imminent opening and making it clear that when you open the doors of the Romea question, provided it is an "innocent" because none of the dates announced by the municipality of Murcia have been met.

Murcia Young Socialists wanted this not only openly denounce the Teatro Romea take four years closed to the public, but also to involve the Murcia of the request, and reiterated by PSOE Socialist Youth of Murcia on numerous occasions, and add a touch humor to the claim given the holidays in which we live.

To do this, have been distributed among those who walked the area this morning by a sheet of paper with some of the headlines published in recent years and allude to various dates Romea opening that have never been respected and the conflict between Technical Office of the City of Murcia, and CROEM company contracted to carry out the works.

Through this action, Young Socialists wanted Municipality of Murcia to show, as it has done in recent times, the cultural mismanagement of the City of Murcia and its mayor Miguel Angel House, which has failed to be at the rise to the occasion and carry out the rehabilitation and opening of Rome as the theater and Murcian deserve.
