Agents of the Police Headquarters of Murcia have proceeded to the arrest of four youths aged 14 to 17 years and a fifth of 20 years, who were suspected of having committed numerous robberies with violence and intimidation on other minors in the city of Murcia in recent months.

The identification of those responsible for these thefts occurred as a result of the analysis of data from several complainants in reporting the theft of those who had been victims.

Thus it was determined that the authors of the facts were five young men without criminal records who selected their underage victims who assaulted or intimidated to seize mobile phones, money or other valuables that they carry with them.

During the robbery, the assailants were acting aggressively, even to cause stab wounds in some of his victims.

The area of ​​operation was the group's main northern city of Murcia, mainly the Avenida Juan Carlos I and Juan de Borbon, but have also identified other actions of this group in the vicinity of the Plaza Circular or in the hamlet of Espinardo.

Having identified the perpetrators of the acts, the researchers proceeded to the location of potential victims, thus clarifying nineteen robberies and intimidation by the detainees.

After this, during the past weeks has been locating and arresting the perpetrators of the crimes investigated, a total of four children and one adult, all Spanish nationals and residents of Murcia.

All children were made available to the Office of Juvenile Murcia.

In yesterday, Thursday December 22 were arrested a Moroccan man to 42 years of age who has been brought to justice in the morning and in collusion with the detainees, was devoted to acquiring stolen phones to resell these later in the parlor of the village of Espinardo where he worked.

In this recording booth will have found a total of 24 allegedly stolen phones and 455 euros in cash, hiding inside a makeshift footrest.
