The autonomous delivery rehabilitated seven homes in the village of Corvera (19/12/2011)

The Minister of Public Works and Planning, Antonio Sevilla, and the mayor of Murcia, Miguel Angel House, this morning delivered the keys of seven homes located in the village of Corvera, belonging to the Institute for Housing and Land in the Region of Murcia (IVS) and having just completed rehabilitation.

Those homes that are leased, are part of a group of 50 houses that were promoted in 1960 by the Social Work from Home but registered in the housing of the IVS in 2008.

Antonio Sevilla highlighted the work of the IVS in the maintenance and preservation of regional public park homes "has direct relevance for specific groups of social interest and households that, on the threshold of income, no access to housing in normal market conditions. "

For the next year, said the counselor, the Housing and Land Institute continue with the work of park maintenance and upkeep of public housing of public promotion, currently amounts to 3865 homes across the region.

Rehabilitation Works

The budget performance for subsequent repair habitability conducted by the Institute for Housing and Land in Corvera amounts to 336,777 euros has been made within six months.

With the idea of ​​not altering the overall composition of the initial promotion, the performance meant to provide a rational housing in accordance with applicable standards, cleaning up the structural elements and exterior walls.

In addition, improvements have been made inside insulation, replacement of roofs, interior finishes and new facilities, including telecommunications, as well as the installation of photovoltaic panels to produce hot water, allowing the said housing to accommodate current needs.
