The Department of Employment, Trade and Company will request the Regional Employment and Training grant to conduct a 'tagging study opportunities and initiatives for job creation in the tourism sector'.

The Local Development Programme SEF aims to fund market research to enable the detection of "niche" or emerging markets, in order to promote the activity of these and boost entrepreneurship.

In the Action Plan of the Local Commission for Employment of the Huerta de Murcia, presented last July at the Local Development Agency, setting out strategic lines for the tourism sector that leads to different foci of activity in tourism and formative.

Given the above plan and building on strengths and opportunities identified in the study of the Local Committee for Employment of the Huerta de Murcia, propose to affect the viability of:

- Trade: To promote activities that facilitate trade association, productive and financial special attention to improving the marketing and distribution of products, likewise increased collaboration with business organizations.

Pay attention to the shops in the town and promote the modernization of municipal food market.

- Tourism: promote the Huerta de Murcia as identification mark territory.

Put points of interest in the garden and set routes.

Generate tourist accommodation.

- Design itineraries and tours by the municipality: Castle Road, route through the garden, Butte River to Beniel and Regional Park Valley and Carrascoy.

- Museum of the Huerta de Murcia.

- Enable "La Finca El Mayayo"

- Create catalogs and advertising tourist routes and activities.

The joint work of the Local Employment Committee Huerta of Murcia and the SEF has determined the characteristics of the study to perform as well as its cost, which amounts to 38,420 euros.
