The City continues to work with the Neighborhood Association for Sustainable Development Garruchal (Adesga) to carry out various activities to raise awareness of landscape values, ecological and environmental aspects of the SPA of Mount Valley and the mountains of SpkrOn and Escalona.
This form is intended to ensure the maintenance of biodiversity through conservation measures for native wildlife.
The grant, amounting to 45,000 euros until 2013, will implement various programs for owners of land to provide advice on agri-environment, assist in the registration of organic producers and inform them about the benefits of for birds and for them to live in an area classified as SPAs.
Furthermore, it will conduct an outreach campaign and environmental awareness to users, neighbors and people related to these areas which will:

Make known what is an SPA and Natura 2000 network and disseminate the reasons why this area has been declared as SPAs and other protection.

Raising public awareness of the importance and recognition of living in an SPA and promote a participatory approach to conservation.

Raise awareness of the opportunities offered live or develop a sustainable activity in an area of ​​Natura 2000.

Provide the tools Garruchal population to participate in the management of the SPA.

Discuss and propose actions in the Garruchal, consistent with the conservation criteria of the SPA.
The mountain areas and hills of the Valley and Escalona SpkrOn are listed as the second largest ornithological value of the region and one of the most important nationally for its stable populations and spread of large raptors
