IU-Greens will table an amendment to the general budget of the Autonomous Region in 2012 in order to include the construction of a public school in the hamlet of Sangonera la Verde.
Herguedas indicated that budgets provide for the expansion of the school 'Antonio Delgado Dorrego' of the parish, but not the creation of a new school despite the increase in population in that area.
In this regard, explained that in recent years the number of applications received for the stretch of early childhood education in public schools Sangonera la Verde "has far exceeded the number of places available and the schools are overcrowded."
Therefore considered that the solution is building a new school, "for the creation of new classrooms at existing centers and new lines would only contribute to overcrowding, deteriorating the quality of teaching and create new conflicts ".
