The climbing wall of the new sports hall is now fully completed Cagigal.

It is an indoor climbing wall, 15 meters tall and a size of 27x5 meters, which has three zones, one for initiation, one lap and the last to competition, ready to host competitions of the Spanish Federation of Mountain Sports and Escalada.

The sports climbing enthusiasts will enjoy this new space from January.

The new pavilion Cagigal will become a landmark in the city because the climbing can be combined with other sports, is the third in terms of capacity, as it has space for a thousand spectators, the first is the Palacio de Deportes and the second Prince of Asturias.

The hall has a floor area of ​​2,220 square meters and has a center court of 45x24 meters with removable wood floor-like the Palacio de Deportes-, two side stands, lobby, lobby, two general locker rooms, two referees changing rooms, two large dressing rooms for disabled, four public toilets, two sporting goods stores, two bathrooms and cleaning kit.

In addition, the pavilion is designed to save energy and large windows that allow natural light to enter and during daylight hours is not necessary to use electricity.
