The Minister of Universities, Business and Research, José Ballesta, accompanied by the Councillor of Institutional Relations of the City of Murcia, Joaquin Moya-angels, and the president of the local craftsmen, Arcadio Hernández today opened the XXVII and Crafts Trade Show Christmas, which is open to the public on Avenida Alfonso X El Sabio de Murcia until 5 January.
The sample comprised a total of 60 exhibitors to invigorate the traditional trade in the center of the city.
Of these, 40 articles related to welcome gift crafts, 19 food artisans offer products and sells a material of a nongovernmental organization.
José Ballesta Murcia encouraged to visit this "landmark event in the Christmas season," noting that the show "has become an ideal showcase to promote the talented artisans of the region and to showcase its growing commitment to design and innovation ".
The opening of this exhibition is the official start of the Christmas business in Murcia and turns its downtown into a tourist attraction.
The wide range of products that visitors can find traditional nativity scenes ranging from clay to natural cosmetics, to handmade toys, ceramics, jewelry, leather goods, made of glass, silver and enamel, among others.
Have collaborated in organizing the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research, through the Department of Consumer Affairs, Commerce and Handicrafts, the city of Murcia and Crafts Association of the Region.
Opening hours are 11:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 21:00 hours.
The fair will be closed on December 25 and January 1 and, in the afternoon, 24 and December 31.
