An agreement of the University of Murcia with the Association for Music will broadcast classical music among college (30/11/2011)

Today, Wednesday, November 30 has been signed in the Rector of the University of Murcia agreement between this institution and Promúsica Association of Murcia, in order to develop the collaboration agreement between the parties to promote and spread through classical music of the "Ars Musicae".

In signing the agreement was attended by the Rector of the University of Murcia Jose Antonio Cobacho as well as the president of the Association for Music Octavio de Juan, the Vice Chancellors of University Extension and Mercedes Farias e-Government and Institutional Relations and Science Health Manuel Vidal, and Lisselotte Haas, Vice President of Pro Musica.

The Vice Chancellor Mercedes Farias, initiator of the project, said at once that this firm "represents the culmination of a first contact with the association more done for the dissemination of classical music in Murcia", offering 200 college students the opportunity to attend to large concerts at symbolic prices.

For his part, Juan Octavio emphasized the great significance that has the university in society Murcia, adding that the incorporation of classical music students has been a priority since the association was founded 35 years ago.
