Students of Art History held tomorrow, day 1, the feast of St. Eloy, the patron of goldsmiths, with several events that will conclude the program it has developed in recent days to honor him.
The day includes morning and most important activity that will start the procession of the Merced campus and that will go towards the church of San Bartolomé de Murcia, where he is worshiped a statue of St. Eloy, work housed.
In this temple will be delivered the opening speech, by Juan Carlos Trigueros, San Eloy Butler 2011, and will be the offerings to the saint, as well as delivery to the true contrast of honor, which this year went to the mayor of Lorca Francisco Jodar.
For its part, the concierge of the Faculty of Arts, John Laban, will be named brother of honor.
