The Mayor delivered to Radio Ecca Canary Foundation Award "Equality Murcia" (25/11/2011)

For his work in preventing violence against women.

He has also distinguished the winners of the Video "Cooperation against gender violence."

Radio Ecca Canary Foundation and its "Women go" has been awarded recognition "Murcia Equality" with which the City Council, through the Department of Social Welfare and Health and Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, wishes to emphasize people or institutions that have differentiated to promote projects, activities or actions with the aim of promoting gender equality, prevent violence against women and supporting victims.

Also, House has given the awards video contest "Cooperation against gender violence '" organized by the Department of Sports, Youth and Tourism with the aim of raising awareness of the perception of the youth population on the issue of gender violence.

The winners have been "For men who leave their mark" by Maria Angeles Ruiz and Ana Health Imbernón John Brown, "Masna (Violence)" from Almudena Castro González, Josefa Hernández Cánovas and Lorena Muñoz Jara and "Tell me a story" of Sonia Sanchez and Daniel Mateos Gonzalez Rabadan.

The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, has delivered such distinctions during the official ceremony marking the International Day for the Eradication of Violence against Women, which took place this morning at the Plenary Hall.
