It has also given the green light to joint work of the Political Groups in the creation of the Municipal Council for Equality, within the Equal Opportunities Plan
The full City Council approved a motion, with votes against PSOE, IU and UDP, to continue working together and in coordination with the Autonomous Community of Murcia on all educational issues affecting the municipality.
In addition, it supports the joint work undertaken by both authorities in schools of the municipality in coordination with the Associations of Parents and the entire educational community of the same, with the aim of achieving higher quality levels.
The Councillor for Education, Maria Dolores Sanchez, recalled that the Virgin of Guadalupe CEIP have recently invested 54,000 euros in compensation for the sports court, 300,000 euros in the expansion of the middle-financed by the autonomous communities and 20,000 euros in repairs and maintenance.
On the other hand, the House has agreed to formalize a meeting together with representatives of local political groups to work on the regulation of formation of the Municipal Council for Equality, an organ of participation of women and their associations in municipal affairs provisions of Equality Plan.
