The House approved a joint motion to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (24/11/2011)

The Plenum of the City of Murcia has approved a joint motion to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

The Municipal Corporation of the Municipality of Murcia wants to make clear the following agreements:

1 .- There is no justification for the mistreatment of any women or for men who use violence to subdue her.

2 .- We call for the need to join forces in one direction: the elimination of violence against women.

3 .- We reiterate the commitment of the Municipal Corporation of the City Council in the prevention of gender violence and adequate care to the victims, and the responsibility we all have to contribute to equality between men and women a reality in any area and, of course, also in relationships.
